Tyler Trent’s parents spreading his message, raising pediatric cancer awareness

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Purdue fan Tyler Trent was an inspiration to many. The way he carried himself with enduring hope and optimism while going through difficult circumstances was witnessed by many.

Tyler’s parents, Tony and Kelly Trent, stopped by Daybreak Thursday morning.

They discussed their son and about spreading his message of hope and raising awareness of pediatric cancer.

The Trents also talked about their new book, “The Upset,” through which Tyler hoped to reach people and raise a $1 million for cancer research and families going through a cancer diagnosis.
