Vehicle hits nonprofit building on near east side
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – A nonprofit is left to pick up the pieces Tuesday morning after a vehicle hit their building Monday evening.
The front corner of the building which houses the Central Indiana Youth for Christ was shattered.
Around 10 p.m., crews were called to the 1600 block of East Michigan Street.
It appears that the vehicle also took out a crossing sign and then smashed into the building.
Police said no one was hurt. However, they have not said anything about what led up to the crash.
