Virtual summer camp perfect for young meteorologists

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Maybe you’ve got a young Stephanie Mead or Marcus Bailey at home who is fascinated by weather, If so, there is a summer camp especially for them.

It’s the virtual Weather Wonders Camp starting in June. Storm chase Reed Timmer has teamed up with Varsity Tutors to help younger campers explore the world of weather complete with hands-on projects.

Reed was on Daybreak to talk about the upcoming camp.

Additionally, he talked about whether campers would get an up-close storm chasing experience as part of the camp.
