INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Officials in Washington Township broke ground on a new early learning facility Thursday.
School leaders says the building will house the developmental preschool program and daycare facility for district staff members.
It’s part of a major overhaul of buildings in the district that serves 11,000 students.
In addition to the new center, three new schools will be built and 10 others renovated.
The district’s school board president says the support from taxpayers across two referendums made the projects possible.
