Washington Township Schools to start return to classrooms Oct. 12

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Washington Township Schools has announced plans to bring students back into the classroom.

Starting Oct. 12, developmental preschool and kindergarten through second grade will return to in-person learning full time.

Starting Oct. 19, grades 3-5 will return to in- person learning full time. Middle and high schoolers will be allowed hybrid learning with two days a week in school and three days at home.

The J. Everett Light Career Center will also have hybrid learning beginning on Oct. 19.

All students will still have the option of full-time virtual learning
