Woman ‘bares it all’ to protest Confederate flag rally

LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) – After reading an ad about a Confederate flag heritage ride making its way through Lafayette, a local woman decided to pull attention away from their cause.

Donning only her bra and underwear, “Maddie” stood at the intersection of South Street and Sagamore Parkway Sunday.

Sporting a sign that read 4,000 dead, Maddie was trying to draw attention to the negative history of the flag.

She called the waving of the Confederate flag “an act of domestic terrorism,” which is aimed at minorities in our community.

Maddie wrote the names of hate crime victims on her body in red as well as the names of Freddie Gray and Trayvon Martin.
