Woman killed in single-vehicle crash in Shelby County

NEW PALESTINE, Ind. (WISH) — A woman was killed in a single-vehicle crash Monday morning in Shelby County.
The Shelby County Sheriff’s Department say the crash happened around 9:30 a.m. on County Road 600 West just south of County Road 1100 North. That is about 5 miles south of New Palestine.
Angelica Hood, 21, of New Palestine, was driving a Chevy Equinox and left the road for unknown reasons.
The Equinox hit a guardrail and Hood was pronounced dead.
