WWII vets honored with vintage planes flyover
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — World War II veterans received a special tribute in downtown Indianapolis on Sunday.
Two vintage planes flew over the War Memorial during a reunion to mark Victory Over Japan Day and the end of the war.
About 300 veterans were expected at the reunion.
The event was sponsored by Indy Honor Flight.
