Young child revived after falling into pool in Hendricks County
UPDATE: Deputies originally reported that the child had died. After being taken to the hospital, doctors were able to revive the child.
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — A young child has been taken to the hospital after falling into a pool in Hendricks County, the Hendricks County Sheriff’s Office said Monday afternoon.
Authorities were called to a home in the 10000 block of Bradford Road around 11:30 a.m. when a caller reported a child fell into a pool.
HCSO originally said the child had died, but later said that doctors were able to revive the child. The child now has a heartbeat, according to investigators.
Authorities have not released information about the child’s age or sex.
The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
