Local students to perform with Indianapolis Symphonic Choir

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – The All-City Honor Choir will perform with the Indianapolis Symphonic Choir on March 7 at the symphonic choir’s annual benefit.

The singers are students from six community high schools.

The students began rehearsing for the performance on Jan. 7 at Crispus Attucks High School.

The Indianapolis Symphonic Choir funds the director, accompanist, printed music, folders and food for all rehearsals for the All-City Honor Choir.

The All-City Honor Choir was revived by the Indianapolis Symphonic Choir, after the program was discontinued due to funding in 2009.
