Lockdown lifted at near northeast side school
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – A near northeast side elementary school was briefly placed on lockdown Thursday afternoon as police responded to an incident nearby.
An Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department official said Frances W. Parker School was on lockdown as officers chased a fleeing man.
The man was reportedly wanted for a domestic disturbance.
He was barricaded in a home and refused to come out, according to police.
