Man charged with battery after hitting Purdue professor
WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) – A man has been charged with battery after an apparent road rage incident against a Purdue University professor in September.
Prosecutors said Austin Gregory, 21, and driver Dianna Taylor followed the victim to Ledyard Street after an incident in the West Lafayette Walmart parking lot.
According to court documents, witnesses said Gregory got out of his vehicle and punched the victim several times.
He faces one count of battery resulting in serious bodily injury.
