Man dies in single-vehicle crash on northwest side

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — A man died in a single-vehicle crash on the city’s northwest side Friday evening, according to IMPD.

Emergency crews responded to the intersection of West 48th Street and Kessler Blvd. N. Drive at 5:45 p.m.

The vehicle was southbound on Kessler when it may have flipped, police say. Investigators believe it did not strike anything.

The man, who had ejected from the vehicle, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators are looking into whether speeding was a factor in the crash.
