INDIANAPOLIS (Inside INdiana Business) — The Indiana Chamber of Commerce is issuing a call to all Hoosier manufacturers to enter the new Coolest Thing Made in Indiana competition. The good-natured event intends to showcase the unique the goods and wares produced in Indiana.

“We believe this contest will feature some of the coolest, most incredible things made anywhere,” said Indiana Chamber President Kevin Brinegar. “We’re confident this competition could even uncover some never-before-told stories of the state’s great manufacturers. And we can’t wait to shine a spotlight on them.”

Any company that makes something in the state can compete in the Hoosier Hysteria-style single-elimination format competition.

Entries are being accepted through December 15. The chamber will then assemble the bracket with tip-off set for January.

Winners will be chosen through public fan voting, with the products receiving the highest votes in each matchup moving to a subsequent round. The winner will be crowned in mid-February.

“If you make something unique, interesting or ingenious, we certainly want to hear from you,” said Brinegar.
