10 new flu deaths in Indiana this week; seasonal total at 64

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Health officials say 10 new deaths related to the flu have been reported in Indiana this week, bringing the total number to 64 for the season.
The state’s activity is widespread, and 34 deaths have been recorded in people 65 and older, according to State Department of Health.
Indiana recorded 41 flu deaths last season by Feb. 22, 2019. In the 2018-2019 season, Indiana flu deaths totaled 113, including 16 in Marion County, according to Department of Health.
