INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – U.S. Surgeon General, Dr. Jerome Adams, expects this week to be the most critical week in the nation’s battle against the coronavirus. 

To date, 337,000 Americans have been infected. Nearly 10,000 people have died. But according to government projections, this number could surpass 200,000. 

On Monday, WISH-TV’s medical reporter, Dr. Mary Gillis, D.Ed., was on Midday to discuss why theory doesn’t necessarily translate into practice. Citizens of this country have the power to change the trajectory should we continue to hunker down these next 30 days.
