Health coach talks ‘overtraining’ on Daybreak

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — When the weather permits, summer is a great time to work out and try to reach fitness goals — but not going overboard is important.

Mike Granato, a health coach with Commmunity Health Network, was on Daybreak Monday.

He discussed what happens when you overwork your body, something known as “overtraining.”

“Exercising every day can lead to overtraining, which can lead to nagging injuries, decrease in sleep — just those aches and pains you don’t want to deal with on a day-to-day basis.”
