Health experts warn of risky behavioral concept that might increase as states lift restrictions

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Health experts warn of a certain behavioral concept that might increase as a result of states reopening.  

On Friday, Dr. Mary Gillis, D.Ed., discussed what’s called “confirmation bias.” This concept perpetuates in those characterized as more risk-seeking and is concerning as people return to society. 

Gillis also talked about why now, more than ever, it’s critical to follow best COVID-related safety practices including hand washing, social distancing and wearing masks.
