Memorial service planned for Mississinewa River crash victim

MARION, Ind. (WISH) – A memorial service has been planned for the victim of a deadly crash in Marion on Sunday.

Police say 22-year-old Thomas Dallas Davis died after the vehicle he was in slid off the road and flipped into the Mississinewa River near East 38th Street and Riverside Avenue.

The cause of the crash is under investigation. Police do not suspect alcohol or drugs to be involved.

Officials at Indiana Wesleyan University say a tentative memorial service for Davis has been scheduled for Monday, Feb. 9 at 7 p.m. at the Noggle Christian Ministries Center, located at 4007 South Washington Street in Marion.
