‘Miracle Ride’ for Riley Hospital to start today

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – An excellent opportunity to get out,get some fresh air and support a great cause begins today.

The 22nd annual ‘Miracle Ride’ for Riley Hospital for Children at Indiana University Health starts things off Saturday with four regional runs.

The long-running charity event is the largest and longest running motorcycle run of its kind in the State of Indiana

This year’s event is expected to raise about $350,000. Over the past 21 years, the annual event has raised more than $4.5 million for the patients and families of Riley Hospital.

Terry Reilly, executive director of the ‘Miracle Ride’, said, “It’s a very emotional moment. These big, tough, bearded, tattooed motorcyclists will come to tears and it’s a real special moment.”
