BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (WISH) — A Bloomington man missing for two weeks was found dead in Monroe County on Saturday.
Conservation officers say 44-year-old Troy Richardson of Bloomington was reported missing Jan. 13.
He was last seen outside his stepmother’s home on South Knightridge Road in southeast Monroe County.
His family said it was not unusual for Richardson to be away from home for several days without contact.
But after two weeks, family and friends began searching the area for him.
He was found dead near his stepmother’s home by a neighbor, according to conservation officers.
Officials say it’s unclear how Richardson died, and an autopsy is scheduled.
There is no indication of foul play, but his death is still under investigation, officials said.
