Monday’s business headlines
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Here’s a look at Monday’s business headlines.
Airplane seats
Congress will consider a law making airplane seats bigger this week.
The regulation of seat width and legroom is part of a five-year extension of Federal Aviation programs.
The bill would also prohibit the involuntary bumping of passengers who have already boarded a plane.
Ford pickup truck
The Ford full size pick up truck, model 2004, is the most stolen vehicle in Florida.
The 2000 Chevy pick up truck and the 2006 Chevy Impala round out the top three.
This is all according to the Hot Wheels report from the National Insurance Crime Bureau.
Nationally, the most stolen vehicle is the Honda Civic and the majority of vehicles on the list pre-date anti-theft technology.
iPhone
CNet dropped a brand new gold iPhone XS onto the sidewalk four times to find out how durable the glass is on both sides.
It found that the phone didn’t crack.
The key, Apple says, is a new formulation of glass that is the most durable glass ever in a smartphone.
