Montoya’s victory worth $2.4 million

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Juan Pablo Montoya’s second Indianapolis 500 win brought in some serious cash.

Montoya was awarded a victor’s purse of almost $2.45 million. Second place finisher Will Power received just under $800,000.

Conor Daly pulled in just over $200,000 despite never getting going on Sunday.

Total prize money was just under $13.4 million.
