Motorists should expect I-465 lane restrictions over weekend

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Indiana Department of Transportation will be making repairs on I-465 on the city’s south side over the weekend.

INDOT contractors will be patching pavement along the eastbound and westbound lanes of I-465 between State Road 67/Kentucky Avenue (Exit 8) and US 31/East Street (Exit 2).

Repairs begin Friday at 9 p.m. and will continue throughout the weekend.

Crews plan on restricting to a single lane if repairs continue past 6 a.m. on Monday.

INDOT stated that motorists should expect more restrictions throughout the spring as crews continue to patch and repair pavement.
