Muggy with more thunderstorms Sunday
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Skies stay mostly cloudy Saturday night.
A few spotty sprinkles are possible, but the bulk of the rain will hold off until early Sunday morning.
Temperatures will fall into the lower 70s Saturday night.
The best chance of rain will be after midnight through about 5 a.m. Sunday.
We’ll get a big break from any rain during much of the day Sunday. Highs climb into the low and middle 80s.
Late Sunday evening, another round of showers and storms will be possible.
Some of the thunderstorms Sunday afternoon and evening may be on the stronger side. The Storm Prediction Center has placed much of central Indiana under a marginal risk that some of the thunderstorms may reach severe criteria.
The main threats will be heavy rainfall and gusty winds.
Skies stay mostly cloudy through much of Monday. Showers and storms will be possible in the afternoon. Highs reach the lower 80s.
Higher humidity invades much of Indiana for the next several days. It’s going to be warm and humid during the day and mild and muggy at night.
It looks like we may get a few rain-free days.
Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday look to be mostly sunny with only a slight chance for an isolated shower. Temperatures climb into the middle and upper 80s for much of next week. Rain chances increase Friday and next weekend.
