Multi-agency investigation results in 21 Grant Co. drug arrests

MARION, Ind. (WISH) – A multi-agency investigation in Grant County resulted in more than 20 drug arrests, according to the Marion Police Department (MPD).

Police say that on March 21 their investigation into the sale of crack cocaine lead to a number of traffic stops and an executed search warrant on a Marion residence in the 1500 block of South Washington Street.

Those traffic stops and residence search on March 21 resulted in the arrests of the following:

  • 58-year-old Charles Love
  • 49-year-old Charles Pegues
  • 24-year-old Sharika Moss
  • 38-year-old Zentwell Dyson
  • 51-year-old Tori McFarland
  • 26-year-old Hope Hamilton

These suspects face preliminary charges ranging from dealing cocaine to false informing, according to police.

Then on March 24, officers investigating the sale of meth, heroin and marijuana conducted more traffic stops and carried out a search warrant on another Marion residence in the 1300 block of West Jeffras Avenue.

Those arrested on March 24 include:

  • 32-year-old Tramaine Wesley
  • 21-year-old Michael Eakins
  • 33-year-old Ronald Pack
  • 38-year-old Timothy Brane
  • 23-year-old Austin Wolff
  • 23-year-old Tyler O’Hara
  • 29-year-old Danielle Murphy
  • 27-year-old Gary Burnham
  • 27-year-old Kylie Eakins
  • 35-year-old Nick Berry
  • 21-year-old Tierra Cassidy
  • 39-year-old Charles Mills
  • 39-year-old Amanda Flemming
  • 26-year-old Zachary Lawson
  • 23-year-old Joshua Couch

The preliminary charges for these arrests are dealing methamphetamine and resisting law enforcement.

The Grant County Sheriff’s Department, the Marion Police Department and the Joint Effort Against Narcotics Team collaborated on the investigation.
