INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — February is American Heart Month.
WISH-TV’s multicultural contributor, Gloria Jimenez, was in the studio Monday afternoon to talk about how heart disease affects the Hispanic community.
Jimenez is the executive director of the Indiana Latino Expo. She says heart disease is the leading cause of death in Hispanic women.
In her interview with Phil Sanchez, she talks about steps she thinks the community should take as part of the month of awareness and prevention.
