Multiple departments battle large fire in Sheridan
SHERIDAN, Ind. (WISH) – Firefighters in Hamilton County were called to a home in Sheridan early Monday morning to battle what was said to be a large house fire.
It happened on West 246th Street, near US 31. Hamilton County Sheriff dispatch said the initial call was made around 2:27 a.m. By that point, the house was fully engulfed in flames.
It’s unclear what started the fire. Officials said no injuries were reported in the fire. The homeowner was out of town when it started.
Multiple fire department responded to help battle the fire.
