DENVER, Colorado (CNN) – A professional sculptor in Colorado in honoring Peyton Manning in a sweet way – literally.
Artist Tim King is creating a larger than life chocolate sculpture of the Broncos quarterback. The statue will be displayed at Choctober Fest.
King says it will be cast in plaster, then sprayed with liquid chocolate.
“I started with a positive sculpture made out of clay, and in order to cast any limited editions of that, I have to put rubber outside of that to make a negative image and then we can cast other things inside of that negative copy,” King said. “I needed to make sure that it didn’t fall apart. I wouldn’t want Peyton’s arm to fall off right before the festival.”
King says the sculpture is about 30 percent larger than the real Peyton Manning.
