Biscuit ball team’s Millennial Night draws backlash
MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WISH) – A baseball team in Alabama is getting some backlash over one of its upcoming theme nights.
According to USA Today, the Montgomery Biscuits are hosting a Millennial Night on July 21.
The team promoted the game on Twitter saying it will feature napping, selfie stations and lots of avocados.
It also says everyone will get a participation ribbon just for showing up.
A lot of people have fired back on Twitter, saying the theme is offensive.
The team is a Double A minor league affiliate of the Tampa Bay Rays.
