Firefighters push man home after his wheelchair breaks down

RAYTOWN, Mo. (CNN) — Several firefighters from a Missouri town teamed up to help a man in need, and the heartwarming gesture was caught on camera.

Raytown firefighters rode up on a man who was stuck on the side of the road in a broken wheelchair on Tuesday.

The group realized the man needed help so they got out of their firetruck and pushed him up the hill. They pushed him about a mile to his home.

The Raytown Fire Protection District posted the video to their Facebook page. It has since been shared more than 1,000 times.
