Girls Scouts set up shop outside Chicago dispensary, sell hundreds of cookies
CHICAGO (WISH) — A Girl Scout troop in Chicago recently set up shop outside of a dispensary, leading to hundreds of cookies sold.
Block Club Chicago reports that the troop sold 230 boxes after setting up outside Dispensary 33 on Feb. 9.
A picture posted to Facebook by Chicago Cannabis Connoisseurs went viral, being shared more than 1,000 times.
“The cookies they’re selling and our clientele, it’s a great match,” Abigail Watkins, marketing and outreach manager, told Block Club Chicago. “As a former Girl Scout, I admire the hustle.”
