Ohio troopers seize more than $23,000 in pot during traffic stop
SUMMIT COUNTY, Ohio (WCMH) — Troopers say the seized thousands of dollars’ worth of marijuana during a traffic stop in Summit County.
According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, on May 8, troopers stopped a 2001 Chevrolet Impala with West Virginia license plates for a speed violation in Summit County.
Troopers say a criminal indicator was observed and the driver admitted to having marijuana inside the vehicle.
A probable cause search revealed about 10 pounds worth of marijuana valued at approximately $23,350 in the vehicle’s trunk.
The driver of the vehicle, Troy G. Brown, 46, of Howell, Michigan was charged with possession and trafficking of marijuana.
