Police: Man arrested for ‘sacrificing’ 3 bodies found dismembered in burning dumpster

FORT WORTH, Texas (AP/WISH) — A man was arrested Monday on a capital murder charge in the deaths of three people whose bodies were found dismembered in a burning dumpster last week in Fort Worth, Texas, police say.
Jason Thornburg confessed to the killings and told police that he had felt compelled to sacrifice the three individuals, as well as his roommate in May and his girlfriend.
A relative said that Thornburg’s girlfriend was Tanya Begay and that she had been missing since 2017 when she didn’t return from a trip with Thornburg to Arizona.
The names of the other victims were not released.
