Staples offering employees money to pay off student loans
FRAMINGHAM, MA (WCMH) – The office-supply chain says it plans on giving some workers an extra $100 a month to help with tuition or pay off student loans.
While $100 won’t cover too much of college costs, it is something.
According to CNN, each worker could get up to $3,600 over three years, but the plan will only be offered to “top performers,” chosen by management. It will also be offered to new employees on the company’s business-to-business sales team.
Staples says the plan will be offered to other groups in the future.
