Student makes resume for Groot for class assignment

WICHITA FALLS, TX (WCMH) – When a Texas high school teacher asked his students to make a resume and cover letter for a Marvel character, he had no idea what he was in for.

Jeffrey Scott Davis told his students to create a resume and cover letter for their favorite Marvel character. Any marvel character.

“The idea that you miss 100 percent of the shots you don’t take lives within one particular student of mine,” said Davis.

One student chose Groot for his assignment, and turned in two pages of “I am Groot.”

Groot is a sentient, moving tree who, with one exception, only says the words “I am Groot” through the course of two Guardians of the Galaxy movies and the latest Avengers movie.
