‘Trivago Guy’ arrested on DUI charges in Houston
HOUSTON (KXAN) — Tim Williams, the actor from all those Trivago.com ads, was arrested Thursday morning in Houston on charges of driving while intoxicated, according to KPRC in Houston.
Williams, a Houston native, has appeared in the German travel site’s commercials since 2012 and has even jokingly referred to himself as the “Trivago Guy.” He has appeared in several films and TV shows, including “The Sopranos.”
At the time of his arrest, he was taken to Harris County Jail, but no further information is known at this time.
