Nearly 50 pot plants found in Morgan County residence
MORGAN COUNTY, Ind. (WISH) — Three men have been arrested and 50 pot plants have been seized by deputies in Morgan County.
According to the Morgan County Sheriff’s Office, a warrant was served on a home on Alaska Road in Cloverdale on Thursday. While serving the warrant, officers found a marijuana grow operation in the upstairs of the home. Lamps, fertilizers and insulation materials were located.
Deputies said nearly 50 marijuana plants were found in the home.
Arrested were 48-year-old James Day and 54-year-old Thomas Day, both of Cloverdale. Both men face preliminary charges of possession of marijuana over 30 grams, cultivation of marijuana and maintaining a common nuisance. MCSO said the men are brothers.
Also arrested was Thomas Day’s son, 21-year-old Brian Day of Manchester, TN for visiting a common nuisance.
