New Albany police cancel Silver Alert for 76-year-old
NEW ALBANY, Ind. (WISH) — New Albany police canceled a Silver Alert about 90 minutes after it was issued for the disappearance of a woman.
Police gave no details in their cancellation whether the woman was found.
Janice Powell was listed as age 76, 5-feet-1 and 125 pounds, with gray hair and blue eyes. She was last seen at 12:30 p.m. Monday in New Albany and was believed to be in danger. Powell may be disoriented and require medical assistance, the Silver Alert said.
