Newfields celebrates fall with pumpkins, beer, baby goats

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Autumn festivities and summer-like weather drew crowds to Newfields for “Fall Fest,” a weekend-long celebration of seasonal food, activities and live entertainment.

The family-friendly outdoor event is scheduled to run Friday, Saturday and Sunday at the art and nature exhibit, located at 4000 Michigan Road.

Children can decorate pumpkins and cuddle with baby goats while adults sample craft beer from local breweries and kick off holiday gift shopping.

Food and beverage vendors include Bier Brewery, Ash & Elm Cider Co., Goose the Market, Apple Booth and Risin’ Creek Creamery.

Newfields, previously known as the Indianapolis Museum of Art, is known for other seasonal festivities, including Winterlights.

Fall Fest admission is free for Newfields members.
