INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — It’s been a wet month across Indiana but the one thing we’ve been missing is the heat.

At this time last year Indianapolis hit 90° 10 times. Beginning in May the mercury soared to 90 three times that month. June had nine days in the 90s and July had 12.

At this time last year we already had 10 days in the 90s. This year we have zero. Last year Indianapolis recorded 38 days at 90 or above. That’s well above the normal of 18.

So far this June we’re actually seeing temperatures below normal. The average temperature is 69.6° which is almost two degrees below normal.

We’re well above normal for precipitation. Total rainfall so far for the month is 7.5″ which is almost 4″ above normal.
