No, Facebook isn’t limiting your feed to 26 friends

MENLO PARK, Calif. (WCMH) — A rumor circling social media stating that Facebook is limiting the amount of friends on your feed is just that: a rumor. 

Recent claims on Facebook say the social media giant changed its algorithm to only show posts from about two dozen of your friends. 

According to Snopes.com, the rumors originated in December of last year, and a spokesperson with Facebook said there is no truth to such a change in the algorithm. 

Some people were fooled by another post that said Snopes had confirmed the rumor, but that was also untrue. 

So, while your Facebook newsfeed may be a jumbled mess of posts, your friends aren’t being limited.
