No injuries in I-74 semi fire that shut part of interstate
SHELBY COUNTY, Ind. (WISH) – A semi fire shut down part of Interstate 74 in Shelby County Wednesday morning.
It happened around 5:45 a.m. on I-74 eastbound at the 110 mile marker. This is about 1 mile from the casino exit.
According to the Shelby County Sheriff’s Department, all of the eastbound lanes were closed shortly after the crash. About 40 minutes later, the left lane of traffic was getting by.
Police say no one was hurt in the incident.
Drivers should use caution as emergency crews remain on scene.
