Noblesville backs downtown project’s design, financing for business center
NOBLESVILLE, Ind. (WISH) — City officials on Tuesday night moved forward with two major redevelopment projects.
The City Council approved the design for the $24.3 million Levinson project. The Levinson will be downtown south of Conner Street between Eighth and Ninth streets. The plan includes 83 apartments, a parking garage, retail space and a small Noblesville museum.
Construction for The Levinson is set to start in March.
The City Council also approved financing for a $31 million redevelopment project at East 146th Street and Promise Road. That’s where a developer plans to add 200,000 square feet of office buildings. Construction on that project could start sometime after the summer.
