North side crash causes major back-ups on I-465 east
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – A crash on the north side of Indianapolis caused a major traffic issue for drivers Tuesday morning.
It happened on Interstate 465 eastbound, near Meridian Street/US 31 North, a little before 7 a.m.
According to INDOT, the right four lanes of eastbound I-465 were closed in the area because of the crash. It wasn’t immediately clear if anyone was hurt.
Indiana State Police said the crash was cleared around 7:50 a.m.
