Not as hot today
A weak cool front will usher in somewhat cooler air today as highs will be in the upper 80s this afternoon. It will be humid again. There will be the threat for a few scattered thunderstorms especially this afternoon and evening.
Scattered storms will be in the forecast over the next several days. Highs will be in the upper 80s and lower 90s. The weather on the 4th of July will be hot and humid with highs in the lower 90s and heat indices near 100.
The extended outlook shows some relief arriving for the weekend. Right now, Saturday and Sunday should be fantastic with lots of sunshine. It will be cooler and less humid with highs both days in the low to mid 80s.
