NY man wins $1M lotto twice
NEW YORK (WISH) – The odds are in favor of a New York man who has won the $1 million lottery twice.
Within four year, 48-year-old Bruce Magistro has won his second million dollar scratch-off lottery prize.
“Sat on my bed and scratched the tickets, and as I was scratching, it read “Life”, a number, “Life”, then another number and “Life” and I couldn’t believe that I won,” Bruce Magistro, lottery winner.
In 2012, he hit a million dollar prize from a five dollar extreme cash scratch-off he purchased in West Babylon.
Magistro said he used most of the money to cover medical bills for his late life, who died after a battle with lung cancer.
It may be luck or the fact Magistro sometimes spends up to $200 on games.
He said he’s opted to accept the prize in 20 annual installments.CNN contributed to this report.
