Oppressive heat and humid build with relief mid week

Active day across SE Indiana yesterday afternoon and evening with damaging hail. Quiet start to Sunday but already very humid and warm with temperatures in the mid 70s. A drier afternoon ahead with an isolated storm possible. The big weather story over the next couple of days will be the prolonged heat and humidity. Highs this afternoon will top out in the upper 80s nad lower 90s with feel like temperatures in the upper 90s and lower 100s.

Stretch of 90s continue through the work week. Highs in the lower 90s with feel like temperatures once again un the upper 90s and lower 100s. Partly sunny skies both Monday and Tuesday. 90s continue through Tuesday with oppressive humidity making it feel like the upper 90s and lower 100s.

Relief comes mid week with scattered shower chances and highs near seasonal. Highs will top out in the lower to mid 80s. A cooler Day Thursday with highs in the upper 70s and lower 80s with lots of sunshine.

Temperatures begin to build to the mid 80s once again by the end of the work week with shower and storm chances returning as well.
