Overturned train car east of downtown
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — A train car has overturned east of downtown Indianapolis.
The train is a CSX train.
According to a CSX official, two cars were turned on their sides.
One car was carrying flour, the other was carrying non-hazardous lubricating oil.
There were no spills of any materials from either car.
According to Indianapolis Fire Department, there are no injuries.
They say the high winds might be the cause.
The train was traveling from Indianapolis to Cincinnati.
The derailment occurred before 5 p.m. Friday near College Avenue and Market Street.
