INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Pacers star guard Paul George tells Yahoo that he is eyeing a mid-March return from his leg injury that could include the March 14 home game against Boston.
George is recovering from a broken leg suffered in July, and doctors said the normal recovery was nine months. He told 24-Hour News 8 last week it was less than 50-50 he could return, because he has yet to practice with the team on a full-time basis.
After meeting with doctors, it appears as if he’s changed his outlook. Indiana has won four of its last five games, and is two games back of the final playoff berth heading into the All-Star break.
